    I'm 37 and have been happily married since Sept. 2002. Ivan is truly my companion in life. Our TTC journey has felt like a never ending roller coaster ride. We had an ectopic PG in Dec. 04 and in April 05 found out my IF is due to tubal abnormality. We were told IVF was our only hope. July 05 we did IVF # 1 and it was a chemical PG. We did IVF # 2 in Oct. 05 and it was a BFN. In Jan. 06 we did a combined fresh and frozen embryo transfer and it was a BFN. We were determined not to give up our dream of having a baby. IVF # 4 was in April 06. The cycle worked like a charm and on December 20, 2006 we were blessed with Hannah and Matthew.

    24 weeks

    I can't believe I am 6 months PG. I still get amazed when I look at the mirror and see my belly, which just seems to get bigger and bigger...not complaining.

    Things have been going very well. I had an appointment last week. Matthew weighed 1 lb 7 oz and Hannah 1 lb 4 oz. I finally feel them move...what a wonderful experience. When Ivan tries they back off and stay still. It's funny because when he takes his hand out they start moving.

    I finally registered. My work shower is on Oct. 17th and my family & friends shower will be I'm assuming some time in November. It was fun picking out things. I was so tempted to buy everything I saw. For the most part I have the essential things I need. I just have to get preemie outfits. The coming home outfit I will leave to my mother, who has been looking forward to shopping for grandkids. These are the first grandkids in my family so they will be spoiled rotten.

    Tomorrow is the 2nd year anniversary of Ivan's mother's death. He has been sad and withdrawn these past few weeks. I feel so bad because I know how much he wishes his mother were here to share this with us.

    Oh Liz, so glad to hear that things are going so well. Can't wait for the next 3 months to pass. Please tell Ivan that I am sorry about his mom and that I am thinking of him.

    That is so cool that you registered.... Awesome!!!!! I was wondering yesterday when you were going to do that.

    I hope that Ivan does okay today... I know it must be so hard for him, but hopefully after this day passes and he has his time to be upset, he will be able to bounce back.

    24 weeks! OMG, that is so exciting... I am just so happy... WOW!!! 24 weeks!! That is just amazing!!!

    I am so glad that Matthew and Hannah are doing so good.

    Wow 24 weeks already. Time just seemed to fly. I'm so glad to hear things are going well. Post pics and update more often...we like to hear how you're doing.

    24 wks, my goodness. I am so happy for yall, that is a definate milestone. And I'm so happy you can finally Hannah & Matthew in there. Its such an amazing feeling, nothing can describe exactly what its like. The feeling is incredible. (God, I miss that..)

    That's so exciting that you're registered, and your work shower is in 2 wks. That's gonna be so much fun. Take pics for us.

    I hope Ivan is doing ok. I'm sure this anniversary of his mom's passing is a hard one. I pray that he's ok now.
